This test will measure your Internet upload and download speed from your location to our central office, as well as measure latency, jitter, and packet loss.
What do these terms mean?
- Latency - A measurement of delay in the transmission in milliseconds. The smaller the number the better. Especially important to gamers and VoIP users for example.
- Jitter - The variability of latency on the network. "0" would mean excellent stability.
- Packet Loss - The data stream sent either arrived completely intact (0% packet loss) or did not, which means some packets were lost in transmission.
